Waterfront music without building the night around a concert
AJ's official music calendar regularly shows afternoon, sunset and late-night performers. That makes it useful when a group wants dinner and music in one harbor stop rather than a formal concert. The performer, stage and start time vary by date, so a recurring listing is not a promise for every night.
HarborWalk Village's official calendar is the better place to check seasonal public entertainment, holiday programming and family-oriented nights. For frequent short-term performances, check LuLu's Destin calendar too. Parking and pedestrian traffic can be heavier during festivals and fireworks.
Looking farther ahead?
Some holiday and spring lineups are still being announced. Baytowne's New Year's Eve music program and January–March band lineup are not confirmed here. The 2027 MKAF Concerts in the Village series is announced for April 8–May 27, beyond this guide's March cutoff; check the organizer for its complete lineup and times.
Plan a better live-music night
- Ticketed show: buy through the official venue, confirm age rules and leave extra time for traffic.
- Waterfront music: verify the daily performer, then pair it with the Destin restaurant guide.
- Outdoor event: check the weather and Gulf conditions before leaving.
- Full weekend: combine music with the current events calendar and a personalized itinerary.
Stay near the music—and directly on the beach
Pelican Beach Resort keeps you in central Destin without turning a concert night into the entire vacation. Compare Unit 707 and Unit 1006, then use live availability to carry your dates and guest count into the complete booking total.
